Mercadona opened in February the selection process to incorporate 200 people in the regions of Girona for the summer campaign. Hiring will be concentrated between the months of June and September in supermarkets located in Blanes, Castell-Platja d'Aro, Castelló d'Empúries, Cassà de la Selva, L'Escala, La Bisbal de l'Empordà, Lloret de Mar, Palafrugell, Palamós, Roses and Sant Feliu de Guíxols.
Selection process and working conditions
Job offers are available through Mercadona's website. The company has indicated that previous experience is not necessary, as new hires will receive specific training from the first day.

The salary offered for these positions is 1,734 gross euros per month for full-time work. The working day is organized into a system of five working days and two rest days, with rotating morning and afternoon shifts. Split shifts are not considered.
Organization and forecasting of the shifts
Mercadona delivers the schedules in advance, on the 20th of each month, which allows workers to plan their time with greater foresight. This system will be applied in all the chain's establishments in the mentioned localities.
