The Girona Gastronomic Week has begun a new edition in the city's restaurants and will extend until March 23. For ten days, establishments from different neighborhoods will offer special menus and tapas made with local and seasonal produce.
Girona hosts the 44th edition of the gastronomic competition
The Association of Hospitality, Tourism and Restoration of Girona is organizing this year the 44th edition of the Gastronomic Week, which the entity presents as its oldest event. The campaign brings together nearly twenty gastronomic proposals and seeks to highlight the value of local cuisine in the city.
Three formats to discover the local offer
The organization has divided the offer into three differentiated formats. The Gastronomic Menu includes a selection of dishes to taste, while the Menu of the Day is designed for an informal lunch or dinner. The Tapa format will allow trying proposals from different participating restaurants.

Awards and recognition at the Night of Hospitality
A jury will choose a winning restaurant in each of the three categories of the competition. The awards will be presented during the Nit de l"Hostaleria, Trobada Anual dels Associats, an event that brings together the hospitality, restaurant, and nightlife sector of Girona.
The Gastronomic Week thus consolidates itself as a reference event in the local calendar, with the objective of energizing activity in restaurants and giving visibility to Girona's gastronomy.
