The new ship in Lleida will add 50 jobs while the ITV station of the same project clashes with municipal regulations

The City Council authorizes the second phase of the Lleida Truck Center, which will open in a year with 50 jobs. The third phase, with an ITV, remains blocked by procedures and delays the creation of the total 120 positions.

The Paeria has granted in two weeks the license to expand the Lleida Truck Center in the Torre Solé industrial estate, where the companies AT Nou Transport and Transports Trot will build a new industrial warehouse that is expected to generate 50 jobs.

The project is advancing rapidly in its second phase, while the third remains blocked by regulatory procedures. The difference is significant because the complete plan foresees the creation of 120 jobs, but for now, only the warehouse that will function as a multi-service workshop for industrial vehicles and trailers has a confirmed schedule.

The new warehouse will open in one year with 50 jobs expected

The expansion authorized in Torre Solé corresponds to the second phase of the logistics and industrial complex promoted by AT Nou Transport and Transports Trot in Lleida. The facility will be dedicated to technical service for industrial vehicles and trailers.

The companies' forecast is to inaugurate the new warehouse within a year. Once operational, the center will add 50 jobs linked to this expansion.

The development of the complex began in 2024 and took a first operational step with the inauguration, in 2025, of an official Volvo Truck & Bus workshop. That opening set the Truck Center's evolution on track before the new municipal license.

The third phase reserves an ITV but is still pending procedures

The plan does not end with the now authorized warehouse. The third phase contemplates building an ITV (vehicle inspection) station within the same project, although that part continues to be pending progress due to regulatory issues.

This difference in pace leaves the project in an unequal situation within the same Torre Solé industrial estate. The industrial part already has permission and an opening horizon, while the future ITV remains without a date because it depends on completing those procedures.

When the three planned phases are executed, the Lleida Truck Center will reach a total of 120 jobs among the different facilities planned in the project.
