The affected product is the Longaniza de Payés in 80-gram format, after a notification sent by the health authorities of Andalusia.

Recommendation to consumers
The body attached to the Ministry of Consumer Affairs has recommended to people who have at home any of the containers included in the alert that they refrain from consuming them. The communication has already been transferred to the competent authorities of the autonomous communities through the Coordinated System for Rapid Information Exchange, with the aim of verifying the withdrawal of the affected products from the marketing channels.
AESAN also points out that those who have consumed any of these batches and present symptoms compatible with salmonellosis, especially diarrhea or vomiting accompanied by fever and headache, should go to a health center. The alert remains active while the effective withdrawal of the distributed units is verified.
