Google has activated a new feature that allows any user with a personal account to monitor if their data has been exposed on the Dark Web. The service is already available for residents in Catalonia and other areas of the State
Personal Data Monitoring on the Dark Web
The tool analyzes compromised databases and notifies the user if it finds matches with the information selected for monitoring. It is essential to have a personal Google account to configure the tracking report. The user can choose which data they want to be tracked and modify or delete their profile at any time.
The results shown by the system are partially hidden to protect privacy. There is an option to generate a specific report without needing to create a profile, although with fewer functionalities.
Recommendations and Assistance in Case of Exposure

INCIBE's Cybersecurity Helpline is available free of charge to anyone affected. The service can be reached by phone at 017, by WhatsApp at 900 116 117, and via Telegram at @INCIBE017
