The Chamber of Terrassa celebrates the second edition of the ActiVallès employment fair with more than 30 companies spread across three floors of its headquarters and a total of 200 job offers from different sectors. The event maintains its mixed format, with in-person attention in the morning and online service both in the morning and afternoon for people who cannot travel.

The pace of registrations has accelerated compared to the first edition. By 12:00 PM, more than 550 people had already registered, while last year the full day did not reach 700 registrants, although it did exceed 1,500 contacts. Between 60% and 70% of those who have signed up also have higher education.

The fair brought together more than 30 companies and 200 offers on three floors

This year's edition expands business participation compared to the previous event, which brought together 20 companies. The increase requires distributing the activity across three floors of the Chamber of Terrassa building to handle the volume of companies and applications.

ActiVallès is conceived as a direct meeting point between companies and job seekers. The organization has concentrated 200 offers in a single event and has maintained a dual access route to combine in-person interviews and contacts with remote connections throughout the day.

More than 550 registered by midday approached last year's total

The comparison with the first edition reveals one of the most striking figures of the event. Before the morning ended, the fair had already surpassed 550 registered attendees, a figure that approaches the total number of participants registered throughout the entire day last year.

This progress coexists with another figure from the previous balance. The previous edition did not reach 700 registered attendees, but it generated more than 1,500 contacts, which focuses not only on the number of attendees but also on the companies' ability to multiply interviews and initial contacts.

Furthermore, the educational profile of the attendees again carries weight in this call. Between 60% and 70% of the registered individuals have higher education, a characteristic that marks a significant portion of the public visiting the chamber's headquarters or connecting to the online format.

Two talks addressed professional reinvention and the use of AI

ActiVallès's programming is not limited to labor intermediation. The event includes two talks focused on the ability to reinvent oneself and how artificial intelligence can help connect better with the job market.

The fair also has co-financing from the European Social Fund, which supports this second edition of an event that last year exceeded 1,500 contacts between companies and candidates.
