The Mossos d'Esquadra arrested a 54-year-old man on Wednesday for a robbery with force in an establishment in El Vendrell, after several neighbors prevented his escape on Valentí Carné street.
The intervention occurred around 8:10 p.m., after the establishment's alarm was activated. The suspect, who has 45 previous police records, had entered by forcing a window with a screwdriver, but could not leave because some residents of the area hid his scooter until the arrival of a patrol from the Citizen Security Unit.
