The Terrassa City Council already allows the application for the social vulnerability report, which foreign residents in the city need to benefit from the extraordinary regularization process of 2026 promoted by the Government of Spain, to be processed online.

The change arrives in a procedure that until now could only be done in person. The town hall maintains that attention in two municipal facilities, but opens the telematic route through the Electronic Headquarters for a document that does not grant regularization on its own and that requires a prior assessment by Social Services.

The request went from being only in-person to being able to be made at the Electronic Headquarters

The new online channel will be available until June 30, 2026, which is the deadline set for submitting applications. To complete the process, the interested person must have a qualified and valid digital certificate or act through a duly authorized representative.

The report certifies situations of precariousness or risk of social exclusion after a technical evaluation by municipal Social Services. Its issuance does not imply the automatic granting of regularization, although it is necessary in cases where regulations require it.

With the incorporation of the telematic channel, Terrassa adds an alternative for those who can already identify themselves digitally. At the same time, the city council maintains in-person attention for residents who do not have a certificate or prefer to manage it directly.

Terrassa maintained two in-person service points without prior appointment and changed its hours

In-person attention continues to operate without an appointment at the Centre Cívic Montserrat Roig, at avinguda de Barcelona, 180, and at the Centre Cívic President Macià, at rambla de Francesc Macià, 189.

In the first, the service is provided on Tuesdays from 4 to 7 p.m. In the second, attention is concentrated on Wednesdays from 4 to 7 p.m.

In addition, the Municipal Library Network offers free support sessions until June to learn how to carry out online procedures through the Electronic Headquarters. This support is designed to facilitate access to the new digital channel for people who need help during the process.

The request for the report can be submitted online until June 30, 2026, through the Municipal Electronic Headquarters, while in-person service without an appointment is maintained at the Montserrat Roig Civic Center on Tuesdays and at the President Macià Civic Center on Wednesdays, always from 4 to 7 p.m.
