The Barcelona Court has decreed the release with precautionary measures for the mother of the one-month-old baby admitted in critical condition at Sant Joan de Déu Hospital. The court maintains provisional detention for the father, who remains in custody after his appeal was dismissed. Both parents had been detained since March 20 for their alleged involvement in a crime of abuse with very serious injuries and sexual assault against the minor.
