The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility keeps underway emergency works to reinforce the longitudinal drainage of the AP 7 as it passes through Cambrils, an action that forces the closure of the right lane in the direction of Barcelona over a wide stretch of the highway.
The impact is concentrated between kilometers 261.8 and 270.3, although the works will not occupy all that distance simultaneously. The intervention will be carried out in phases and in sections of a maximum of three kilometers to limit the impact on traffic.
Partial cut in morning hours
The traffic restriction will apply only on weekdays and within a specific time slot. The right lane will be closed from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., in the direction of Barcelona, while the planned tasks proceed at this point of the Baix Camp road network.
The forecast is that these disruptions will extend until June 4, always within the schedule set for these emergency works.
Detours enabled for the vehicles
To absorb part of the traffic and facilitate alternative routes, two itineraries with connection to the A 7 have been enabled. Drivers can exit via junction 281 of L"Hospitalet or via exit 265 of Cambrils, depending on the point of the route and the evolution of the works.
The action seeks to improve the longitudinal drainage of the highway in this sector of Cambrils, a point that during the coming weeks will register partial restrictions in morning hours, with direct incidence on the usual displacements in direction to Barcelona.
