Salou hosts this May 1st the second and definitive casting day for extras and dancers for Disney's live-action adaptation of Tangled. The children's auditions are taking place in the Europa Hall of the Salou Auditorium Theater with a schedule from 9 AM to 2 PM. The call seeks to attract local talent to integrate into an international musical production.
The test is reserved for children between 4 and 12 years old. Applicants must submit a questionnaire with information on clothing sizes, physical features, and abilities such as dancing. After the evaluation, a photograph is taken of the candidate holding an identification number. Those who are selected will receive a text message to confirm their incorporation into the artistic team.
The impact of production on the Costa Daurada
The morning session follows the adult audition held on April 30, which registered massive participation in front of the Hotel Sol Costa Daurada. That event brought together people between 25 and 80 years old, generating queues of hundreds of individuals waiting to enter. Previously, online tests have been carried out for teenagers, thus completing the different age groups of the cast.
The public response recalls the situation experienced in Girona last Monday, where the facilities also reached full capacity. In Salou, anticipation grows with the news that filming in the province of Tarragona will extend from July 1 to July 10, 2026. The film will require complex choreographic scenes with the simultaneous participation of up to 500 dancers. Costume fittings are scheduled for a single day in June, while the organization keeps candidates waiting for the final results.
