Torazinas has released the songs 'Roig i Negre' and 'Orgia modernista' are their first recording in Catalan after more than thirty years of career linked to punk rock. The Reus-based group thus presents the first previews of their third album, scheduled for the end of 2026.
The novelty arrives almost three decades after the formation of the band, created in 1997, and after a discography that until now had been marked by two albums in Spanish. That change of language also coincides with the band's stable return to the stage, resumed in 2023.
'Roig i Negre' pays homage to the first Reus Deportiu hockey team
'Roig i Negre' is dedicated to the first Reus Deportiu roller hockey team and its fans. The song looks directly at one of the city's sporting symbols and makes it the focus of one of the previews of the new work.
The music video for the song was produced by Acid Factory. The piece combines current images of the team and the stands with historical material from the club, thus linking the present of Reus Deportiu with its visual archive.
'Orgia modernista' mixes vermouth, menjablanc, and local architecture
In the second preview, Torazinas offers a satirical look at Reus. 'Orgia modernista' brings together local references such as vermouth, menjablanc, and modernist architecture in a composition that plays with some of the city's most recognizable features.
Both songs were recorded at Moera Records studios in Vila-seca. The production was carried out by the group itself along with Xavi Moreno, singer of La Fuga.
The band resumed its stable activity in 2023 after two previous albums
Torazinas began their career in 1997 and released their first two albums in 2002 and 2008. The first was 'Fresas, coca y champán', released in 2002, and the second 'Me gusta duro', which arrived in 2008.
Since 2023, the lineup has resumed stable activity on stage. The group's third album, from which these two previews have already been released, is scheduled for publication at the end of 2026.
