The Mossos investigate a stabbing of a 17-year-old minor in Reus with no arrests

A minor of 17 years was injured with a knife in a premises on passeig de Prim in Reus. Treated by SEM and discharged, the Mossos are investigating the authorship and motive without having made any arrests.

A minor, 17 years old, was injured with a bladed weapon on Saturday night during a fight in a restaurant establishment on passeig de Prim in Reus. The alert for a knife assault reached the emergency telephone 112 around 11:00 PM.

The assault concluded without arrests, even though the victim had to be attended by the SEM and transferred to Sant Joan Hospital. The Mossos d'Esquadra are now investigating who attacked the young man and what motivated the fight.

SEM ambulances and Guàrdia Urbana patrols arrived at the premises after the alert call. Healthcare professionals provided initial assistance to the minor at the scene before evacuating him to the Reus hospital.

The young man, 17 years old, was discharged from the hospital the following day, once the injuries sustained in the assault were treated.

The Mossos are investigating the authorship after no arrest was made

For now, the assault has not resulted in any arrests. The Guàrdia Urbana has transferred the case to the Mossos d'Esquadra, who have taken over the investigation.

The officers are working to identify the perpetrator of the stabbing and clarify the circumstances under which the fight occurred inside the restaurant establishment on passeig de Prim.

The attack happened on Saturday around 11:00 PM, when 112 received the alert of a knife assault in this area of Reus.
