Reus will celebrate this weekend the third edition of the Fira de les Bruixes on the Sunyer promenade, an event organized by the Associació Cultural Reus Medieval with the collaboration of the Ajuntament de Reus.

The fair recovers a historical episode linked to the city and turns it into a festive proposal. The core of the event stems from the witch hunts of the 15th and 16th centuries, a past that the organization wants to reclaim through activities open to the public.

The fair will recreate a setting of witches and legends on the Sunyer promenade

The ambiance of the venue will seek to transform the Sunyer promenade into an immersive space with references to witches and legends. On this stage, the planned program will unfold throughout the weekend.

The lineup includes parades, fire shows, dance, and live music. There will also be children's games, itinerant activities, a market for crafts and local products, as well as workshops and talks.

The third edition maintains the focus on the historical memory of the 15th and 16th centuries

The Fira de les Bruixes reaches its third edition with a proposal focused on Reus's past linked to the persecution of alleged witches between the 15th and 16th centuries. The Associació Cultural Reus Medieval places this historical memory at the center of the program.

Alongside the educational component, the event adds an offering designed for different audiences and for visitor circulation within the venue. The market for crafts and local products will coexist with the shows and family activities throughout the weekend.
