A partial collapse of the roof of a three-story building on Raseta street in Sales de Reus mobilized emergency services this Sunday. The Bombers de la Generalitat deployed four units after receiving the alert from the Guàrdia Urbana.
The collapse affected about 12 square meters of the roof, although the first floor of the building is inhabited and, for now, technical checks have not detected any damage that would require evacuating the building. The intervention focused on an immediate paradox, with a part of the roof collapsed in a property that maintains its general stability.
The Bombers confirmed that the building maintains general stability
During the operation, the personnel inspected the affected area and checked the condition of the building to ensure the safety of both residents and the immediate surroundings.
Emergency services have confirmed that the general stability of the building is not in danger. This assessment rules out, for the moment, the adoption of more far-reaching measures on the property on Raseta street in Sales.
