The incident left an unusual scene due to the difference in damage. While the truck driver escaped unharmed, the car was completely incinerated and its two occupants suffered minor injuries. The other vehicle suffered partial damage from the fire.
Four fire crews extinguished the fire after the collision
Four units of the Generalitat Firefighters were dispatched to the accident site, mobilized by the fire in both vehicles after the crash. The flames also reached bushes near the roadway.
The fire, however, was brought under control in a short time and no major impact outside the highway is reported. The small truck sustained partial damage, compared to the total destruction of the car.
