Cambrils will host on Sunday, May 31st at 11:00 AM the official presentation of the Havanera de Cambrils at the Centre d'Interpretació de la Pesca of the Confraria de Pescadors. The event will serve to introduce a piece linked to the municipality and the maritime environment where it will premiere.
The presentation also comes with an unusual element for this type of launch. The song has been composed and performed by two people affected by ALS, Francesc Ferrando and Siscu Morell, who will lend their voices to a project included in an album planned for the end of this year or early 2027.
Francesc Ferrando composed the piece and performs it with Siscu Morell
Francesc Ferrando is the author of the lyrics and music of the Havanera de Cambrils. He performs the song with Siscu Morell, in a recording that brings them together within the same musical project.
Musical direction was handled by Carlos Ventura and Pep Pellicer. The recording of the song took place at El Refugi studio, owned by Albert Recasens.
The event will screen the video of the recording process
During the presentation, the public will be able to see a video with the audio of the song and images from the recording process. The format of the event will also include testimonials from collaborators linked to the project.
The Havanera de Cambrils is part of the album Arribaquí cusí, a publication planned for the end of this year or early 2027. The official premiere has been set for the Centre d'Interpretació de la Pesca of the Confraria de Pescadors de Cambrils on Sunday, May 31st at 11:00 AM.
