A worker has been admitted to Sant Joan de Reus hospital after falling from about 10 meters while repairing an air conditioner on the roof of an industrial building in the AgroReus industrial estate.
The alert to the 112 telephone number arrived shortly before noon this Monday from Ignasi Iglèsies street. The fall occurred from a considerable height, but the injured person suffered mainly bruises and a possible fracture, injuries less serious than might be expected from the impact.
The alert mobilized the SEM and the Mossos d'Esquadra in AgroReus
Mossos d'Esquadra patrols, SEM ambulances, and Generalitat Firefighters units were dispatched to the building.
The Generalitat Firefighters ultimately did not have to intervene in the worker's care. The operation focused on medical assistance and police action at the accident site.
