The Mossos d'Esquadra arrested on May 8 in Roquetes a 28-year-old woman investigated as the alleged perpetrator of a hate and discrimination crime and another of damages due to the appearance of xenophobic graffiti and stickers against the Muslim community in the municipality.
The investigation began in April and focused on a paradox that raised tensions in the town. A large part of the actions appeared in a children's playground, a space linked to family and daily use, which ended up becoming one of the main scenes of racist messages.

The case was handled by the General Information Commissioner's Office and the Information Area of Terres de l'Ebre, with the collaboration of the Local Police of Roquetes and under the judicial supervision of the Court of Instance of Tortosa.
The proceedings began after detecting graffiti and stickers directed against the Muslim community. The concentration of these messages in a children's playground caused social and institutional rejection in the municipality.
In the exploitation phase of the case, the agents carried out the arrest of the suspect in Roquetes on May 8.
The search of the home provided evidence of national socialist ideology
During the search of the investigated woman's home, the Mossos d'Esquadra seized evidence that would point to an alleged link with national socialist ideology.
The agents also located elements that would supposedly link her to the Núcleo Nacional organization, a line that is part of the investigation opened for hate and discrimination crime and for damages.
One day after the arrest, the woman was brought before the Court of Instance of Tortosa on May 9.
