A 32-year-old man was assaulted by two individuals on a Tarragona L6 line bus when the vehicle was traveling in the direction of Campclar. The incident occurred on Thursday, March 19, at 3:15 PM and mobilized inspectors from the Municipal Transport Company and several patrols of the Guàrdia Urbana.
The driver activated the EMT's internal protocol as soon as she became aware of the aggression and notified the service inspectors. Following that communication, those responsible for transport contacted the Guàrdia Urbana of Tarragona to request police intervention.
The involved parties got off at the Icomar stop
When the device was activated, both the victim and the two alleged assailants had already gotten off the bus at the Icomar stop. The alleged perpetrators left on foot before encountering the officers dispatched to the area.
Two EMT inspectors and three police patrols went to the scene. Upon their arrival, the aggressors were no longer there. The action then focused on attending to the assaulted man and gathering the first data about what happened.
Minor injuries and no report for now
The victim presented minor injuries. The officers identified her and explained to her the steps she should follow in case she wanted to formalize a complaint for the assault.
At the moment, no complaint is on record for these events. Meanwhile, two patrols carried out a sweep around Icomar to try to locate the alleged perpetrators, although the search ended without results.
