A collision between two passenger cars on the AP 7 at the height of L"Ametlla de Mar has left a woman with minor injuries this Thursday and has caused traffic jams of more than six kilometers in the direction of Valencia.
The accident report was registered at 12:54 PM at kilometer marker 291.3 of the highway. Only two cars were involved in the incident and there was no impact on other vehicles.
Transfer to Tortosa Hospital
Four patrols of the Mossos d'Esquadra have moved to the area to attend to the incident and direct traffic. The Medical Emergency System has evacuated one of the affected people, a woman, to the Verge de la Cinta hospital in Tortosa with minor injuries.
Afternoon delays
The incident has had an impact on mobility on this stretch of the AP 7. At 3 p.m., queues exceeded 6 kilometers in the direction of Valencia, with traffic conditioned while the vehicles were removed and normality was restored on the road.
The situation has been normalized at 4:30 p.m., once the disruption resulting from the collision in the municipality of L'Ametlla de Mar was resolved.
