A home located in the center of El Vendrell has gone up for public auction for 1 euro within a bankruptcy proceeding processed by a Barcelona court. The property, located at number 15 on carrer del President Companys, is offered along with a parking space that also starts with an initial price of 1 euro.
The auction is channeled through the specialized portal Escrapalia and will remain open until next May 29. Interested parties must register previously on the platform to be able to participate in the process.
A 77 square meter apartment valued at 82,000 euros
The home that has come onto the market through this system has 77 square meters and an appraisal of 82,000 euros. It is part of a multi-family building built in 2005, in a central area of the municipality.
The process also includes a parking space of about 20 square meters, located in the basement of a building on Sant Vicenç avenue. In this case, the property where the space is located was built in 2001.
Deposits to be able to bid
Participation in both auctions requires a prior deposit. To opt for the housing, the required deposit is 10,000 euros. In the case of the parking space, the amount set amounts to 2,000 euros.
Both the dwelling and the square are part of a bankruptcy proceeding of a natural person. The process remains open and bids can be submitted until the set deadline, in a transaction that has drawn attention in El Vendrell due to the low starting price of both properties.
