Two cars have collided on the C 44 at kilometer 1.3 in Vandellòs and have left two people injured, one of them seriously, during the Easter getaway operation on Tarragona's roads.
The call to 112 was received at 21:39 hours. In the incident, one of the occupants was trapped inside one of the vehicles, which forced the mobilization of emergency personnel for their extrication and on-site attention.

The Firefighters have dispatched three units to the accident site. The collision has resulted in two injured, one serious and one minor, without more information about their identity having been released so far.
The action of the emergency services has lasted for several hours. The incident was not declared resolved until 01:00 in the morning, already in deep night, in an especially sensitive stretch due to the increase in travel these days.
Third accident in Tarragona in the departure of Holy Week
This crash raises to three the accidents registered on the roads of Tarragona during the exodus operation for Easter. The C 44, in the term of Vandellòs, has been the scene of this new accident in a time slot of high mobility, with numerous drivers en route to second homes and holiday destinations.
