Troncos, the team presided over by Perxitaa, the name under which Jaume Cremades competes, won the Kings League Spain final against Rayo de Barcelona by 4-9 in the sixth Split of the tournament, held on Sunday. The team thus closed a run that also included victory in the semifinals against Ultimate Móstoles by 4-5.

The title also leaves a clear local reading. While the Kings League has stabilized its audience figures, the competition maintains a presence in national media with a champion in which several names linked to Tarragona have had a decisive role.

Éric Bartra managed Troncos after already winning the France World Cup in 2025

At the helm was Éric Bartra, a resident of Sant Jaume dels Domenys, who served as head coach for Troncos. It was not his first major achievement with the club, as he had already won the France World Cup in 2025 with the same team.

That run was consolidated in the final phase of the Split. First, Troncos overcame Ultimate Móstoles 4-5 in the semifinals and then resolved the final against Rayo de Barcelona with a wider scoreline, where the team clinched the title with a 4-9.

Joan Oriol and Víctor Oribe scored 15 goals and five assists in the tournament

The contribution of players from Camp de Tarragona was also decisive during the championship. Joan Oriol, from Cambrils and former captain of Nàstic, added five goals and two assists throughout the tournament.

Alongside him, Víctor Oribe, from Mont-roig del Camp, stood out with an even greater output. Oribe finished the tournament with ten goals and three assists, a figure that increased the offensive weight of the Tarragona footballers in the champion team.

Between the two, they amassed 15 goals and five assists during the competition. This data reinforces the presence of profiles from the region in a project that once again triumphed in a state-level event.

The final was played in the sixth Split of the Kings League Spain, on a day held on Sunday, and confirmed Troncos' new title after the 4-5 in the semifinals and the 4-9 in the decisive match against Rayo de Barcelona.
