The Mossos d'Esquadra have arrested two people accused of attempted homicide for the fall of a man from a third floor in a building on Valentí Almirall street, in Lleida. The incident occurred this Sunday at noon and the investigation remains open to clarify what happened inside the property.
The victim fell down a light well and was seriously injured. Upon the arrival of emergency services, the care teams had to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation. She was then evacuated to the Hospital Universitari Arnau de Vilanova with polytrauma and a skull fracture.
Previous fight in an apartment with shared rooms
The incident was triggered after an argument and a fight between the tenants of an apartment with shared rooms, according to the neighbors in the area. Following that alert, police forces and emergency services were activated to the building.
The Catalan police are now focusing their investigations on determining the exact origin of the fall and the degree of involvement of those arrested. For the moment, the two detainees are accused of an alleged crime of attempted homicide.
