The Guardia Urbana arrested five people on Wednesday afternoon in Lleida for crimes of robbery and assault on authority in various parts of the city. The actions were spread across Ciutadella street, Ensenyança street, Sant Joan square, Comtes d'Urgell street, and Príncep de Viana.
The concentration of arrests in a few hours occurred one day after two other arrests made on Tuesday for robbery with violence, injury, and threats. In two days, officers arrested seven people in different services within the urban area.

At 1:30 p.m., officers arrested a 49-year-old man on Ciutadella street for an alleged robbery with force in a home.
Shortly after, the Guardia Urbana arrested a 38-year-old man on Ensenyança street for an alleged crime of assault on agents of authority.
Also during the afternoon, police action reached Sant Joan square and Comtes d'Urgell street, where two men, aged 20 and 49, were arrested for robberies with violence and intimidation in commercial establishments.
In addition, on Príncep de Viana, a 28-year-old young man was arrested for an alleged robbery with force.
On Tuesday, there were already two arrests for robbery with violence, injury, and threats
The previous day, the Guardia Urbana had made two other arrests in the city. One of them took place on de la Panera street, where officers arrested a 24-year-old young man for an alleged robbery with violence and intimidation.
In a second intervention, police officers arrested a 23-year-old young man on Comte de Vinatesa street for alleged injuries and threats.
With these actions, the Tuesday and Wednesday sequence left seven detainees in Lleida for incidents investigated as robberies, assault on authority, injuries, and threats.
The last of the reported arrests corresponds to the one made on Comte de Vinatesa street, where a 23-year-old young man was arrested on Tuesday for alleged injuries and threats.
