Tàrrega concentrated the central events of its Festa Major this weekend with the Corretossino, the Vermutada, and the second edition of the Bategar de Tàrrega in the Plaça Major. The day brought together popular culture proposals promoted by both local entities and youth groups.

The least usual detail of the day arrived precisely at one of the events with the most symbolic weight. A popular culture show created by teenagers once again occupied the Plaça Major and shared prominence with the premiere of a new festive figure inspired by a dragon documented in the city since 1610.

The Bategar de Tàrrega brought together teenagers and premiered the dragon Pedrafoc

The Plaça Major hosted the second edition of the Bategar de Tàrrega, a popular culture performance created by teenagers. The event thus consolidated itself in the program of the main day of the festival.

During the day, the dragon Pedrafoc was also premiered, a two-headed figure promoted by Guixanet. The new piece takes as a reference a dragon from Corpus documented in Tàrrega since 1610 and is incorporated into the Diables Targalots.

In addition to the Bategar, the festive program included the Corretossino and the Vermutada, two of the highlighted events of the celebration. The activity was concentrated in the city center and especially in the Plaça Major.

The Targa Bongo brought the mayor and the deputy mayor to the stage

Another of the most talked-about moments came with the Targa Bongo, the musical bingo organized by Agrat. The event included a performance by the mayor Rosa Maria Perelló, from Junts, and the first deputy mayor, Laia Recasens, from the CUP.

Both performed the song "Yo quiero bailar" during the activity. The scene was part of a festive format that mixed music and audience participation.

Mollerussa celebrated the twentieth Trobada Gegantera as part of its Festa Major

In Mollerussa, the Festa Major had as one of its main events the twentieth Trobada Gegantera i Grallera de Mollerussa, organized by the Colla Gegantera i Grallera l'Arreu. The event was integrated into a program with activities spread across various spaces in the municipality.

The program included a popular bike ride and games in the courtyard of Cal Jaques. Later, the Plaça Major hosted the show Tomàcat Músic Xou.

The festive calendar was completed with a vermouth organized by the Colla del 76 in the courtyard of the Music School and with a new edition of JoveFest. The gathering held by the Colla Gegantera i Grallera l'Arreu thus reached its twentieth edition in Mollerussa.
