Esquerra Republicana de Catalunya already has a candidate for next year's municipal elections in La Seu d'Urgell. Marian Lamolla Miret was unanimously elected by the local assembly and replaces Francesc Viaplana, who will not be on the lists again.
Lamolla will be the first woman to head an ERC candidacy in the city. Her election also opens a new internal stage in the municipal group, where she currently serves as councilwoman and as national secretary of Small Municipalities and EMD in the party's national executive.
