The Mossos d'Esquadra arrested three men aged 28, 29, and 36 this Wednesday during a preventive check on the N-260, near La Seu d'Urgell, for an alleged crime against public health. The officers located the drugs and material during the search of the vehicle in which they were traveling.
The discovery was not limited to a single substance. In the car, there was pink cocaine, hashish, MDMA, and marijuana, in addition to a precision scale, 600 euros, and 50 self-sealing bags, a combination that suggests distribution activity rather than isolated consumption.
The check on the N-260 ended with four types of drugs in the car
During the inspection, officers found a package with pink cocaine, also known as TUSI, in the vehicle's armrest. Along with that substance, they seized a piece of hashish, two bags with 15 grams of MDMA, and 2.3 grams of marijuana.
In the same search, a precision scale, 600 euros, and 50 self-sealing bags also appeared. This material was seized along with the substances located by the Mossos d'Esquadra.
One of the arrested individuals attempted to identify himself with a false identity while the police procedure was ongoing. The detainees are 28, 29, and 36 years old, and one of them has a prior record.
The canine unit marked hiding places used in previous trips
After the initial inspection, the canine unit conducted a more thorough search of the vehicle. The dogs marked other spots that would have housed narcotic substances on previous trips.
However, officers did not locate any more drugs in those compartments. The operation concluded with three detainees for an alleged crime against public health in this operation carried out on the N-260 highway.
The three arrested individuals will soon be brought before the judicial authorities at the duty investigating court of La Seu d'Urgell.
