CCOO denounced the aggression against one of its affiliates during a concentration in front of its Lleida headquarters, in an episode that occurred while a group tried to access the union's facilities. The affected person is Francesc Bademunt, a member of the Pensioners' Federation, who ended up with broken glasses.

The tension coincides with CCOO's role in the agreement signed with the Departament d'Educació, a pact that only this union and UGT have signed. The clash occurred precisely in front of the headquarters of one of the two organizations that have endorsed this text.

CCOO released an image of the injured affiliate and a video of the scuffle

The union made public a photograph in which Bademunt appears injured. It also released a video in which he is seen with another CCOO member as they both try to prevent the group from entering the Lleida facilities.

In that material, the sequence shows the moment when several people try to access the interior of the headquarters. CCOO linked the aggression to these events and confirmed that it will file a complaint for what happened in Lleida.

The incident erupts when only CCOO and UGT have signed the agreement

The aggression occurs in a context of protest against the agreement with the Departament d'Educació. So far, only CCOO and UGT have signed this agreement, a position that has placed both organizations at the center of the conflict.

Francesc Bademunt, a member of CCOO's Pensioners' Federation, suffered broken glasses during the concentration in front of the union's headquarters in Lleida.
