The Paeria has granted in two weeks the license to expand the Lleida Truck Center in the Torre Solé industrial estate, where the companies AT Nou Transport and Transports Trot will build a new industrial warehouse. The building will function as a multi-service workshop for industrial vehicles and trailers.
The municipal permit arrives in a short timeframe for an action that still has a third phase pending regulatory procedures. The expansion, moreover, is based on a project that had already started in 2024 and began operating with its first facility in 2025.
The new warehouse will create 50 jobs in the second phase
The work corresponds to the second phase of the Lleida Truck Center and will add 50 jobs with the construction of the new workshop. The warehouse will be dedicated to the maintenance and service of industrial vehicles and trailers in Torre Solé.
In 2024, the overall project began, and the first phase was materialized with the opening of an official Volvo Truck & Bus workshop, which was inaugurated in 2025. Now, the expansion continues the deployment planned for this complex linked to heavy transport.
The third phase foresees an ITV when regulatory procedures are completed
In addition to the already authorized warehouse, the plan includes a third phase that contemplates the construction of an ITV station. That section is still pending progress through regulatory procedures, so it is not part of the license now granted by the Paeria.
Within the announced calendar, the inauguration of the second warehouse is planned for within a year. When the project is completed as a whole, the Lleida Truck Center will be able to reach a total of 120 jobs across all its phases.
