The City Council of Castellar de la Ribera and councilor P.T. have agreed to temporarily remove him from his duties following accusations of sexual abuse and harassment made by former students of the Conservatori del Liceu in Barcelona.
The decision comes while no formal written complaint has been filed at the Conservatori del Liceu, even though one of the affected parties claims to have informed a department head years ago to forward it to the management. The case thus pits the councilor's withdrawal against the absence, for now, of documentary record at the institution.
Claustre Sunyer and the councilor agreed on his temporary departure from office
The mayor of Castellar de la Ribera, Claustre Sunyer, explained that the council and P.T. made the decision by mutual agreement. In her words, "we have jointly decided that he step aside until the facts are clarified."

P.T. confirmed his temporary withdrawal and stated that he is receiving legal advice. He also indicated that he has been advised not to make statements about the substance of the accusations.
Furthermore, he maintained that this is the first time he has received information about accusations against him. He added that he was a professor at the Conservatori del Liceu between 1987 and 2025 and that he has been retired from teaching for a year.
Three former students place the events in the classroom and in WhatsApp messages
Two former students report that the then-teacher touched them in the classroom and tried to kiss them in his vehicle approximately ten years ago. A third former student claims to have received nude photographs from him via WhatsApp and that the professor pressured her to send similar images.
One of the affected parties reported what happened to a department head at the Conservatori del Liceu. That official, according to her account, replied that he would inform the institution's management.
It has not been confirmed whether that communication took place. The Conservatori del Liceu, for its part, has no record of any formal written complaint regarding these events.
P.T. maintains that the accusations were not communicated to him and places his tenure as a professor at the conservatory between 1987 and 2025, although he states that he had already been retired from teaching for a year when he became aware of them.
