The duty judge has ordered provisional detention without bail for Dino Marcello Miller, arrested this Friday in Lleida when he was attempting to rob a supermarket on Baró de Maials street, in the Pardinyes neighborhood, with a simulated pistol.
The arrest occurred just a few weeks after he was released from the Ponent Penitentiary Center, on April 16th. His release had already necessitated the activation of control measures due to the assessment of a "significant risk" of him committing new crimes.
Mossos arrested him in Pardinyes when he was attempting to assault a supermarket
The Mossos d'Esquadra arrested Miller this Friday for an alleged crime of robbery with violence with a dangerous instrument in an attempted degree. The action took place in a supermarket located on Baró de Maials street.
The arrested individual allegedly used a simulated pistol during the attempted robbery. After being brought before the court, the duty court ordered his provisional detention without bail.
He had left Ponent on April 16th and already had control measures activated
Miller had regained his freedom on April 16th upon leaving the Ponent Penitentiary Center. That move activated control measures because the existence of a "significant risk" of recidivism had been estimated.
The sequence places the new arrest less than a month after that release and the implementation of that monitoring. The current judicial proceeding is investigating him for an alleged robbery with violence with a dangerous instrument in an attempted degree.
Dino Marcello Miller's release from prison occurred on April 16th from the Ponent Penitentiary Center.
