The Ministry of Industry and Tourism has approved the granting of aid for 107 industrial projects worth 128.8 million euros within the 2025 value chain promotion program. The measure seeks to strengthen the sector's competitiveness through investments in sustainability and digitalization.

Jordi Hereu, minister of Industry and Tourism, presented the details of this call for proposals that benefits companies throughout the state. Among the recipients are several companies based in Catalonia that will allocate the funds to modernize their production processes.

Major investments in transformation and energy efficiency

Frutas del Segre (Infrusesa), based in Soses, will carry out an investment of 16.5 million euros to update its fruit and vegetable processing lines. The company will receive a direct subsidy of 4.94 million euros to promote the sustainability of its activity.

The Noel charcuterie, located in La Garrotxa, is another of the big beneficiaries. The industrial group will receive 7.95 million euros for a global project of 38.65 million. These resources will be directed towards improving energy efficiency and reducing the environmental impact of its industrial processes.

Renault heads the ranking of individual aid. The automotive company will obtain 10.6 million euros to develop two projects at its Palencia plant. This figure makes it the company that will attract the most public resources in this edition of the program.

Three companies from Lleida receive technological support

In the provincial sphere, the Sepides program granted a total of 2.6 million euros to three firms from Lleida in April. These aids complement the state package and reinforce innovation in the demarcation.

Técnicas Mecánicas Ilerdenses SL, with its registered office in the capital of Segrià, obtained 967,916 euros. The amount will finance part of a 3.22 million euro program aimed at implementing a digitized technical solution based on artificial intelligence for flexible packaging.

The Mollerussa firm will develop a system for classifying and recovering plastic crates. In addition, it will work on components for a smart bicycle parking facility. Argal alimentación SA, from Miralcamp, closed the list of local beneficiaries with 705,920 euros. Its 1.17 million plan focuses on researching sustainability solutions for meat products.
