The main festival of Lleida has closed its first four days with a high attendance of the public and without serious incidents, according to the assessment released by the Paeria on the last day of celebrations. The mayor, Fèlix Larrosa, has highlighted the participation in the scheduled events and has placed the prevention and care device as one of the axes of the municipal assessment.
The contrast of the closing is that parties with thousands of attendees have barely left two incidents registered, while information and prevention services have attended to 2,700 people and the city council has distributed 380 hair ties with chips to activate alerts in less than 10 seconds in situations of insecurity.

Sant Anastasi's procession gathered thousands of people in Major street
The last day has been marked by the mass and the subsequent procession of Sant Anastasi through Calle Mayor, which have gathered thousands of people. The patron saint has been the focus of one of the most attended events of the festive closing.
For the afternoon, the Battle of Flowers was scheduled, and for the night, the fireworks display. On Thursday, furthermore, the drone show opened one of the most talked-about images of the edition.
The mayor has defended that this aerial installation has generated city pride and has advanced that it will be maintained as a fixed commitment in future editions. La Paeria already incorporates it into the political balance of the celebration along with the monitoring of traditional events.
Larrosa has also announced that next year's main festival will coincide with the 400th anniversary of the proclamation of Sant Anastasi as patron.
