The DGT launched an extraordinary call for practical driving tests in Lleida last Saturday to reduce waiting lists in the district. The reinforcement has allowed the service to be extended in the centers of La Seu d'Urgell and La Pobla de Segur, where between this week and June 4, 242 B permit tests are scheduled.
The paradox of the operation is that the increase in tests was not accompanied by an improvement in results. In the extraordinary Lleida session, 312 students were examined and 45.711% passed, a percentage below the average recorded in the first four months of the year.
The call increased practical tests in the Pyrenees by 75%
With the extraordinary session activated in Lleida, the DGT has increased the number of practical tests in the Pyrenees by 75%. The direct effect of this expansion is concentrated in La Seu d'Urgell and La Pobla de Segur, the two locations where the service has been extended in the coming days.
Between both centers, there are 242 B permit tests scheduled from this week until June 4. The expansion aims to address part of the accumulated demand in a district that had a waiting list to access the practical exam.
The Lleida session brought together 312 students and had a 45.711% pass rate
Last Saturday, the extraordinary call held in Lleida brought together 312 driving permit applicants. The session served to increase examination capacity in the district and sustain the reinforcement that now also reaches the Pyrenean regions.
In that group, 45.711% of students passed the practical exam. This figure is below the average pass rate recorded between January and April, although the DGT maintains the operation to alleviate the waiting list in Lleida and in the centers of La Seu d'Urgell and La Pobla de Segur.
The 242 tests scheduled in La Seu d'Urgell and La Pobla de Segur will be programmed between this week and June 4.
