The Lleida City Council will open next Wednesday a specific office to attend the extraordinary process of regularization of migrant people. The new space will process applications for the vulnerability certificate without the need for a prior appointment and its location will be announced on Monday.

Morning attention and staff reinforcement

The new office will operate in morning hours during working days. The council has foreseen a team of fourteen people and ten registration desks to assume the in-person attention of the applicants.

In addition to registering the documentation, the municipal staff will help fill out the forms. This task will be done with the support of Social Services, with the aim of facilitating the processing for people who come to the device.

Reinforcement in the OMAC of rambla Ferran

In parallel, the City Council has already reinforced the Municipal Citizen Service Office of rambla Ferran with two people. The forecast is to incorporate two more next week to absorb the increase in procedures linked to this process.

Also, the government sub-delegation plans to enable specific service offices starting next week. The opening of these points seeks to expand the response capacity given the volume of applications expected in Lleida.
