Lleida Televisió broadcasts tonight the Nit del Tararot of the Festa Major of Tàrrega starting at 9:40 PM, in a broadcast dedicated to one of the most participatory events of the festive program of the capital of Urgell. The event takes place in the historic center of the city and brings together music, street theater, fire, and festive bestiary.
The differentiating feature of the event is that the public does not remain as spectators on the sidelines of the route, but can interact with the characters and integrate directly into the development of the celebration. Hundreds of people participate in a proposal that occupies the streets of the old town.
The Nit del Tararot turns the historic center into a festive route open to the public
The celebration is part of the Festa Major of Tàrrega and once again places one of the events with the most scenic component at the center of the programming. Throughout the route, elements of popular culture coexist with a staging based on proximity to the attendees.
In addition to music and street theater, the Nit del Tararot incorporates fire and festive bestiary figures, in a combination designed to take place in direct contact with the public.
During the broadcast, Jordi Sebastià and Gemma Peris will provide the television narration. Cel Màrquez will complete the street-level coverage with impressions from the participants.
The channel will also broadcast the Milla Escolar and a Mollerussa vs. Navàs game
Lleida Televisió's programming for the day is not limited to the Tàrrega event. The Grup SEGRE channel will also offer the Milla Escolar Memorial Jeroni Saura at 9:45 AM.
Later, the channel will broadcast a basketball game between Mollerussa and Navàs at 6:00 PM, before connecting at night with the Nit del Tararot from Tàrrega.
The main broadcast of the day will begin at 9:40 PM with Jordi Sebastià and Gemma Peris narrating and Cel Màrquez collecting impressions from participants in the streets of the historic center of Tàrrega.
