The last day of the Fiesta Mayor of Lleida starts at eight in the morning with the Mateinades. The day consolidates the festive program that has enlivened the city during the previous days and concentrates a wide cultural and recreational offer distributed throughout different municipal facilities.

Museums open their doors to the public

During the morning, citizens can visit the Templar Castle of Gardeny, the MORERA, the Lleida Museum, and the Monumental Complex of Turó de la Seu Vella de Lleida along with the Castle of the King for free. Also open are the Centre d'Arts la Panera, the Water Museum, the Pla de l'Aigua Reservoir, the Sant Anastasi Mill, the Roda Roda, and the City Hall Exhibition Hall.

La Rambla Francesc Macià hosts an exhibition of old and classic vehicles that attracts motor enthusiasts. In Camps Elisis, the children's area has wooden games and, at eleven in the morning, a trip to Magicolàndia is organized for the little ones.

At nine in the morning the Fiesta Mayor Galejada begins its route from Camps Elisis.

The official delegation leaves at half past ten in the morning from the City Hall palace heading to the Office. At eleven in the morning, the Solemn Office takes place in the New Cathedral, the central event of the institutional and religious agenda of the day.

The procession of Sant Anastasi goes through the center

At a quarter past eleven the Matinals del Séquito begin and, fifteen minutes later, the Baile de los Diablos takes to the streets. After the Service ends, at a quarter past twelve, the image of Sant Anastasi leaves the Cathedral in procession towards the church of Sant Joan to make the floral offering.

A peal of bells from the Seu Vella announces the arrival of the image at the church of Sant Joan. This traditional sound marks one of the most anticipated moments for the neighbors who gather in the cathedral surroundings.

From twelve noon, Camps Elisis celebrates a vermouth of the main festival enlivened with live music. The activity allows attendees to enjoy the festive atmosphere in one of the emblematic parks of the capital of Segrià.

At six in the afternoon the Battle of Flowers takes place on Rambla Ferran.

The musical afternoon begins at five in the Enric Granados auditorium with a concert of sardanas and music for cobla. Half an hour later, at six thirty, the Fiesta Mayor concert is held in the Seu Vella, taking advantage of the monumental setting of the enclosure.

The Sant Joan square is the setting at seven in the evening for the Main Festival Dance. Later, at half past seven, the dances of the grallers group perform in the courtyard of the comedies while sardanas are danced in the Paeria square.

At eight in the evening, the nighttime visit to the Hill of La Seu Vella opens. The visual closing of the day is provided by a fireworks display that illuminates the city's silhouette from the hill.

The Giants of Lleida and the Marraco close the Fiesta Mayor with their return home. This tradition puts an end to the official events programmed by the council to celebrate the patron saint festivals.
