The City Council of Lleida and the cooperative TAU Catalunya Sostenible Social SCCL have signed an agreement at the Casa de Fusta on Cavallers street to promote 11 two-bedroom rental homes in the Historic Center of the city. The development will be built on a plot located between Galera, Alsamora, and Ereta streets.
The action is aimed at people under 35 years old and their family units, with the aim of expanding the affordable housing supply in this area of Lleida. The initiative is part of the HOME project of the Paeria.
Rent of about 500 euros per month
The homes will have a monthly rent of approximately 500 euros with expenses included, although an initial contribution will be necessary to access them. The project also foresees the provision of 11 parking spaces for cars and 4 for motorcycles.
The call to apply for these flats is now open and the registration period ends on May 31. Applications can be formalized through the website www.taucatalunya.com.
Award by order of registration
The allocation of the homes will be carried out by order of registration, provided that the applicant persons meet the established requirements. With this agreement, the Paeria takes a new step in its strategy of access to housing for young people in the Centro Histórico, in an urban area located between Galera, Alsamora and Ereta.
