Lleida lives this Sunday, May 10, its second to last day of festivities with a dense agenda that combines traditional events and cultural proposals spread throughout the city. The program starts at 9:00 with the Toc de Matinades, which travels through the main urban axes to wake up the neighbors before the start of the scheduled activities.
The Casteller and Geganters tradition takes over the squares
The Paeria square becomes the starting point at 11:30 for the parade of the Castellers de Lleida, which precedes the festive performance scheduled for 12:00. The human tower day extends throughout the afternoon, as the Castellers de Lleida perform an afternoon session from 17:00 until night to maintain the presence of human towers in the festive atmosphere.
In parallel, Blas Infante square hosts the 11:00 AM giant planting corresponding to the XLI Giant Gathering. This gathering gives way to the general parade, which begins its route at 12:00 PM and adds color and music to the streets of the historic center during the morning.
The Arrels group from Lleida will perform a traditional dance show at 11:00 AM, complementing the morning's cultural offerings.
