Civil Protection has activated the alert of the Inuncat plan due to the forecast of heavy rains during Thursday afternoon in regions of Central Catalonia and the demarcation of Lleida. The notice is based on the forecasts of the Meteorological Service of Catalonia and places the episode between noon and night.

Regions under warning for rain intensity

The forecast points to impacts in Alt Urgell, La Noguera, Urgell, La Segarra, and Solsonès, where more than 20 liters per square meter in 30 minutes can accumulate. Within this scenario, Berguedà and Lluçanès appear as the counties with the highest probability of exceeding that threshold.

The episode will not be limited to rain. The showers will arrive accompanied by storms and, locally, also by hail, which may complicate the situation on the road and in open spaces for a good part of the afternoon.

Call for prudence

Civil Protection has asked to exercise extreme caution, especially in mobility and outdoor activities. The agency also insists on the advisability of closely following the evolution of weather forecasts throughout the day.

With the Inuncat alert already activated, the recommendation is to maintain attention in the affected regions and adapt travel and outdoor plans to an afternoon marked by instability.
