The Mossos d'Esquadra have dismantled a family structure that operated as a drug dealing point in the region of les Garrigues. The police action culminated in the arrest of three individuals in the municipality of l'Albi.
The investigation started in October 2025 when agents identified signs of trafficking from a private residence. The inquiries confirmed that the group made up to ten daily sales to consumers from the area and from Pla d'Urgell.
The registry seizes drugs and dosing material
The agents searched the home of the detainees in l'Albi. Inside they found more than 50 grams of cocaine, marijuana, and hashish. They also seized cash along with precision scales and utensils for dividing the doses.
The investigation extended to a rustic farm located in Cervià de les Garrigues. There they located an active crop with 225 marijuana plants and hundreds of cuttings ready to be planted.
During the operations, simulated weapons, several bladed weapons, and an extendable baton were seized. These objects reinforced the charge of belonging to a criminal group in addition to crimes against public health.
