The National Police have arrested three men in Lleida accused of belonging to a drug trafficking network dedicated to distributing heroin and cocaine in the city center. The agents arrested them in a property that functioned as a logistical point for storing the drug and preparing it for sale.
The intervention occurred just before a transaction, so the operation cut off the exit of the already prepared substance to the market. During the search, the agents seized 783 grams of heroin, 24 grams of cocaine, and more than 4,100 grams of products for adulterating the drug, as well as cash and manipulation materials.
The anonymous tip led to an apartment used for storing and preparing doses
The investigation began with an anonymous tip filed at the provincial police station. Based on this information, the National Police located the property that the network used as a storage and distribution center in the center of Lleida.
During the search, the agents found 783 grams of heroin and 24 grams of cocaine, along with more than 4,100 grams of substances intended to adulterate the narcotics. They also seized 2,400 euros in cash and utensils for manipulating, packaging, and preparing the doses.
The arrested individuals directed the reception of drugs arriving from Holland
The three detainees held leadership roles within the organization. The investigation places them in charge of receiving the drugs and their subsequent distribution in the local market.
In addition to sales in Lleida, the network worked with substances originating from Holland, which were then stored and prepared in the seized property. The police action allowed for the dismantling of an active sales point in the city before the confiscated drugs could be distributed.
The estimated value of the confiscated substances exceeds 50,000 euros, a figure that includes both the heroin and cocaine as well as the seized material for their preparation and cutting.
The operation resulted in three arrests and the seizure of 2,400 euros in cash in the apartment used by the network in the center of Lleida.
