The Lleida Urban Guard arrested four people in the Aplec del Caragol grounds between Saturday night and Sunday morning for three separate incidents that occurred during the celebration. Among those arrested are two 23-year-old youths accused of stealing a mobile phone from a German citizen at dusk, a 20-year-old youth for causing injuries in a fight, and a 35-year-old man for using stolen credit cards.
The sequence of arrests concentrated in a few hours crimes of a very different nature within the same festive space, while the local police also carried out another arrest on Sunday outside the Aplec grounds, in the Joc de la Bola neighborhood. There they arrested a 40-year-old man for exhibitionism in the Victorina Vila playground, after he undressed in front of minors.
Two 23-year-old youths stole a mobile phone from a German citizen
The first arrest at the Aplec del Caragol occurred at dusk, when the Urban Guard arrested two 23-year-old youths for the theft of a mobile phone. The victim was a German citizen who was in the festive grounds.
Hours later, officers arrested another youth, aged 20, for causing injuries to another person during a fight also registered at the Aplec. Police action thus concentrated on thefts and assaults within the same celebration space.
Cameras allowed the identification of the detainee who used stolen cards
The fourth arrest in the grounds involved a 35-year-old man, accused of using stolen credit cards. The Urban Guard managed to identify him through prior security recordings.
In parallel, Sunday's police activity moved to the Joc de la Bola neighborhood. There, in the Victorina Vila playground, officers arrested a 40-year-old man for exhibitionism after he undressed in front of minors.
During that intervention, the police noted that the man arrested for exhibitionism showed signs of having consumed alcohol, a fact that the officers recorded after his arrest in the Victorina Vila playground.
