The Parc Agrobiotech of Lleida has received the award for the best practice in science and technology parks in the State, granted by the Association of Science and Technology Parks of Spain. The recognition distinguishes Breakfast4Inno, an initiative launched in 2024 at the Gardeny site to give visibility to the intelligent agri-food innovation agents of Lleida and its surroundings.
The award recognizes a format of meetings born just a year ago and which has already held 21 sessions. APTE has valued its capacity to connect research and business in a local ecosystem that seeks to transfer knowledge to the productive sector.
Breakfast4Inno brought together 589 attendees since its launch in Gardeny
The initiative has consolidated itself at the Parc Agrobiotech as a meeting space between profiles linked to agri-food innovation. 27 researchers, 36 companies, five startups, and 63 speakers have participated in its sessions.
This volume of activity translates into 589 people registered as attendees since the program's launch. The project was born in 2024 at the Gardeny facility with the aim of giving visibility to sector agents in Lleida and its area of influence.
APTE highlighted the connection between knowledge and companies in the territory
The state association has recognized Breakfast4Inno for its "capacity to generate connection, knowledge transfer, and impact in the innovative ecosystem of the territory." The award places the Lleida park among the initiatives recognized for their contribution to the development of science and technology parks.
In addition to the accumulated balance so far, the program maintains its schedule for the coming months. The Parc Agrobiotech already has five more sessions scheduled for this year after the 21 held since 2024.
