Down Lleida and Ciutadà XXI presented the awards for their 12th literary competition, which gathered 100 works from nine centers to raise awareness of the abilities of people with intellectual disabilities.

The Jaume Magre Hall of Lleida hosted on Friday the awards ceremony of the 12th edition of the essay contest organized by Down Lleida and Ciutadà XXI.

The contest brought together a hundred texts from nine educational centers in the province and awarded four students from three schools.

The objective of the contest is to raise awareness about the capabilities of people with Down syndrome and other intellectual disabilities.

Down Lleida and Ciutadà XXI organized the event with primary and secondary school students.
