A car and an electric scooter with two people on board have collided this Friday morning in the Santa Eugènia neighborhood of Girona. The accident occurred around 330 hours at the height of number 117 of Santa Eugènia street, a very busy road in the west sector of the city.
Intervention of the emergency services
To the scene several units of the Policía Municipal de Girona, personnel from the Sistema d"Emergències Mèdiques (SEM) and Bombers have been dispatched. As a consequence of the collision, two people have been injured, a man and a woman who were traveling on the electric scooter.
The SEM has confirmed that the woman has suffered serious injuries, while the man presents minor injuries. Both have been evacuated by ambulance to Hospital Josep Trueta de Girona to receive medical attention.
