Thirteen people were slightly affected by a fire declared on Friday night in an apartment in Girona, in an intervention in which the Servei d'Emergències Mèdiques also acted with a wide sanitary deployment.
Six transferred and seven treated at the scene
The toll of the emergency leaves six people transferred to Hospital Trueta or CUAP Güell, while another seven were discharged at the scene after being attended by the medical teams.
The SEM activated seven ambulances to respond to the fire, which also mobilized a joint team from the Bombers de la Generalitat. The operation concentrated during Friday night, when those affected by the consequences of the fire in the dwelling were assisted.
Health and emergency deployment
The intervention allowed attending to all those affected and referring to health centers those who required a complementary assessment. All those attended presented mild conditions, according to the report of the action carried out during the emergency in Girona.
Bombers and the health services worked in a coordinated manner on the affected floor to control the situation and assist the people affected by the fire, on a night with a significant mobilization of emergency resources in the city.
