The Street Shop of Girona has been postponed one more week due to the adverse meteorological conditions foreseen for this weekend. The organization has decided to move the event to March 21st, with the objective of ensuring that the activity can develop normally and without setbacks for businesses and visitors.
Second rescheduling due to the rain forecast
The event, which was initially scheduled for March 8, was already rescheduled a first time to Saturday, March 14 due to the rain forecast. Now, given the persistence of bad weather forecasts, the organization has opted for a new postponement. It is the second time that the Botiga al Carrer de Girona is postponed in this edition.

The decision seeks that the day develops in the best conditions both for the participating businesses and for the attending public.
Route and changes in the location of the stops
La Botiga al Carrer will be deployed throughout the entire commercial axis of Girona, from l'Eixample to the Barri Vell. The stalls will be distributed in streets such as Migdia, Gran Via Jaume I, Hortes, Plaça Catalunya, Rambla de la Llibertat, Carrer Nou and Plaça de la Independència.
Exceptionally, plaça de la Independència will host the businesses that were supposed to be installed in carrer Santa Clara. This change responds to the improvement works being carried out in plaça de la Independència. During the day, traffic will be diverted through carrer Santa Clara to facilitate the development of the event and the ongoing works.
A usual event in the streets of Girona
The Shop on the Street is an event that is held on several occasions throughout the year in different streets of the city. In this edition, the weather has forced to modify the calendar on two occasions, but the organization trusts that on March 21 the optimal conditions will be met for its celebration.
The event maintains its bet on dynamizing local commerce and bringing closer neighbors and visitors to the main commercial axes of Girona.
